PPL(B) & CPL(B) Restricted

Following the release of the new Air Navigation Order (ANO) on 25th August 2016 the new self-declaration medical can be used for the PPL(B) and CPL(B) Restricted licenses. However, the new self-declaration is subject to numerous disqualifying medical conditions and also imposes restrictions on your licence privileges.

These conditions and restrictions are listed on the CAA website and also in an excellent guide published by Jon Cooke, the LAA‘s head of Training.

CPL(B) Unrestricted

The unrestricted CPL(B) requires a Class 2 Medical.
